Yes. Each vessel is assigned its own Captain and Crew. Together with our own quality standard requirements for presentation and being English spoken all Crew must hold the necessary STCW paperwork and have a proven history within the Maritime Service Sector to be part of the Asfar Yacht Team.

Each is registered Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) and hold all required public and private liability insurances

The standard duration of the sightseeing trip for most of the companies is 2 hours, however some companies may require you to book their vessel for a period of at least 4 hours for a sightseeing trip. As for the fishing trip, we strongly recommend to book your vessel for at least 5 hours, so you can get the most out of your experience.

The following Cancellation Policy will apply for each Tour cancelled:

  • Changes to the reservation is subject to the availability (additional charges may apply).
  • Cancellation outside 72 hours from trip time: You will be charged 30% of trip cost.
  • Cancellation within 72 Hours from trip time: You will be charged 50% of trip cost.
  • Cancellation within 36 Hours from trip time: You will be charged 80% of trip cost.
  • Cancellation within 24 Hours from trip time: You will be charged 100% of trip cost.

We may cancel your reservation due to the event beyond our control such as bad weather, mechanical failure, coast guard restrictions, and enforcement of new laws. Asfar Yacht will provide alternatives within the charter budget or Full Refund will be processed.

Yes, we do provide refunds. Each and every refund, however, is a subject to our cancellation policy.

Yachts are typically chartered for a minimum of 3 hours to witness all the sights; quicker charters are available please contact one of our charter executives to understand the terms and conditions for this.

Soft drinks and water are complimentary when chartering with us. We have Menu on Board available on our website plus we have Catering menu available upon request, please discuss your catering and dietary requirements with your Charter Executive during the booking process.

Yes, minors under 2yrs are permitted but must remain within the Saloon or Cabin area accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 9 are required to wear life jackets throughout the charter.

We do have water slide 1st and only one in UAE you can use it during our charters. We can however supply a water sports such as, jet ski, Banana, wakeboard, fly board and Doughnut rides if you would like to add activities to your Charter.

We are located within Dubai Marina, our office is located at Al Khor Plaza Building, Al Garhoud, Meet & Greet is at PIER 7. our fleet is a 2-minute walk.

Asfar Yacht operate and own a luxury pick up service, if you wish to bring you own vehicle you have the following parking options; Valet parking is available at Pier 7, AED50 per vehicle
Alternatively, Marina Mall Parking Level 4 is available subject to availability

Please arrive 10-15 min prior to your charter at the designated Pier 7 Valet. Please make the operations team aware when you arrive.

We will have one of our coordinators meet you and your guests at the front of the Pier 7 Valet Parking. They escort you to the vessel.

All guests MUST bring with them Valid I.D. Passport for individuals coming from outside of UAE and Emirates I.D for Residents. Failure to comply may result in you or guests being refused entry to the vessel.

You may extend your charter IF we are in a position where there is availability following your charter. We advise this is pre-discussed as a possibility with your Charter Executive. Payment for the extension must be to Captain in cash/credit card during your charter.

Your Charter will commence taxiing through the infamous Dubai Marina, once out in the Arabian Sea you will travel around the iconic Palm Jumeirah, see sights such as the Atlantis Hotel and the One & Only Royal Mirage, from there across to the 7 Star Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, before heading back past the Sheik Mohammad's Island. Time permitting, we will rest the vessel for you and your guests to anchor in the sheltered waters and relax with the back drop of Dubai as you.

Sure. Inform your charter Executive of the same and we will have one of our crew assist transporting the food and beverage to the vessel on the day. We have glasses on board. Any cutlery and crockery will need to be supplied by the client unless Asfar are providing the catering.

Yes. Each yacht is equipped with a sound system, an AUX cable friendly device is required. We do not have our own music to play, so please bring your own.

The Coast Guard inform our office if a weather warning has been issued. In this instance you will be notified immediately and have the following options presented to you;

  • Continue with your charter with an alternative and safer route plan (if permitted).
  • Reschedule the charter for a later date.
  • Cancel the booking free of any cancellation charges (only in the event you are unable to reschedule).

This is subjective, we advise to minimize the risk of discomfort during your charter, eat a meal (no fruit) ideally bread and stay on the top deck facing the direction the vessel is moving in. The Captain will assign seasickness tables prior to the charter for those commonly affected by motion sickness.

Swimming is permitted during daylight hours only. Cut offs are typically during the Summer months at 7.00pm and winter months at 5.00pm.

Unfortunately, like most fishing companies, we cannot guarantee you a catch since this is beyond our control. Having said that, our trips that have no catch are eligible for a 60% discount on your next trip with us.

For the safety of our guests and to keep the yacht in pristine condition we require all guests to remove their footwear when boarding. New slippers are on board for those not comfortable in bare feet.

Life jackets are only required when a weather warning has been issued or you are chartering a high-speed vessel such as a speed boat. Even so, this is only required whilst the vessel is in motion and can be removed whist at anchor.

All of our larger vessels carry BBQ Grills on board and our crew will assist you for BBQ. Please ask your Charter Executive about the catering facilities on the yachts and if you would like this to be prepared for your Charter.
